The Completion Standard

Most contractors decide for themselves when your job is finished, hand you a bill, and leave. We do it the opposite way. On our jobs, "done" is something you confirm, in person, after you have walked your home and seen the work with your own eyes. This standard tells you — before you ever sign a contract — exactly how your job ends, who decides it is complete, and what you walk away with. It is the same process on every home, every time.

You Decide When It's Done

The single most important thing to know about how we finish a job: you decide when it is complete, and you do not pay until you have. No deposit, no progress payments, nothing until the work is done and you have signed to say so. That one fact shapes everything below — we have every reason to finish your job right, because finishing it right is the only way we get paid.

How the Final Walk-Through Works

There are no surprises at the end, because we walk your home twice. The day before, your crew leader walks the finished work with you and hands you a roll of painter's tape — anything you want a second look at, you mark it yourself, right on the home, and the crew fixes every taped item before the official walk-through. Then you walk the full home together one more time, and when you are satisfied it is done, you sign our Completion Sign-Off — and that signature, yours, is what marks the job complete. Not ours. Your signed sign-off is photographed and logged in your job file, and you keep your own copy. It records the date, what you walked, and what you received — a permanent record for both of us.

What You Receive at Completion

When you sign off, you do not just get a handshake. You receive four things, in hand, at the final walk-through: your written workmanship warranty — a physical copy, handed to you in person, not emailed later; your paid-in-full receipt details — clear notice of how and when it reaches you; your touch-up paint, labeled with your exact color and formula — the same formula we keep on file and retrievable for up to 10 years; and a review card with a simple link to share your experience. Each of these is listed on your Completion Sign-Off, where you initial to confirm you have it in hand.

Why We Finish This Way

A paint job is easy to start and easy to walk away from. The hard part — the part most companies rush — is the finish: catching the last details, fixing them without being chased, and letting the homeowner be the one who says it is done. We built our completion process so that the end of your job is as deliberate as the start of it. The tape in your hand, the second walk, the signature that is yours and not ours, the four things you receive — none of it is a formality. It is how we make sure the last day of your job is as good as the first.
